“Spinal Energetics” is a visual meditation on the subtle power of the central nervous system — specifically, the role of cerebrospinal fluid as both a physical and energetic force. Often overlooked, this clear, flowing substance protects, nourishes, and communicates deep within the body’s core, acting as a silent messenger between the brain and spine.
In this piece, I’ve abstracted the spinal column and surrounding fluid into rhythmic forms and layered textures, suggesting both anatomical structure and energetic flow. The motion within the work references the pulse-like waves of cerebrospinal fluid, as well as the idea that our internal systems are not just mechanical, but deeply interconnected with our emotional and spiritual states.
Spinal Energetics invites the viewer to consider what lies beneath the surface — the quiet intelligence of the body and the unseen currents that sustain us.
“Western Shadows” is a meditation on strength, solitude, and the quiet poetry of the American West. Set in the sweeping landscapes of Colorado, this piece captures a woman on horseback, silhouetted against late-day light — both a rider and a witness to the land.
The title speaks to more than the literal play of light and form. It evokes the legacy of the West — its myths, its grit, and the unspoken stories that ride alongside us. In the long shadows of the plains and foothills, there’s a space where identity meets terrain.
With oil’s rich, earthy tones and deliberate brushwork, I aimed to honor the timeless relationship between human and horse, movement and stillness, strength and reflection. It’s not just about riding — it’s about riding through.

“Into the Wild” is a quiet exploration of stillness within motion — a moment where nature slows down just enough to be noticed. Three rocks rest at the base of a gentle waterfall, not as obstacles, but as anchors. Painted entirely in shades of green, with bursts of orange light, the scene becomes both real and otherworldly — a dream filtered through the forest.
The limited palette invites the viewer to feel rather than analyze — to step into a place where sound is softened and time is suspended. The rocks are not the destination, but the pause. A breath. A reminder that even in wildness, there is grace.
This piece is less about the landscape and more about what it evokes — calm, curiosity, and the quiet companionship of elements at peace.

This is a portrait of a dog who knows exactly who he is: majestic, a little dramatic, and entirely too cool for the dog park. “Issa Meatball” captures the spirit of a Bernese Mountain Dog — a connoisseur of fresh air, miraculous vibes, and designer eyewear (well, Oakleys, but still).
Painted in oil because fur this fabulous deserves the rich texture of real pigment, this piece celebrates the joy of sticking your head out the window and feeling the wind redefine your whole personality. The Oakleys? Not just for style — they’re a lifestyle.
It’s a tribute to motion, swagger, and the four-legged philosopher who reminded me of some of life’s best moments.
