“Spinal Energetics” is a visual meditation on the subtle power of the central nervous system — specifically, the role of cerebrospinal fluid as both a physical and energetic force. Often overlooked, this clear, flowing substance protects, nourishes, and communicates deep within the body’s core, acting as a silent messenger between the brain and spine.

In this piece, I’ve abstracted the spinal column and surrounding fluid into rhythmic forms and layered textures, suggesting both anatomical structure and energetic flow. The motion within the work references the pulse-like waves of cerebrospinal fluid, as well as the idea that our internal systems are not just mechanical, but deeply interconnected with our emotional and spiritual states.

Spinal Energetics invites the viewer to consider what lies beneath the surface — the quiet intelligence of the body and the unseen currents that sustain us.
