i think this might be poetry

$75.00

artistry is a way of being, a way of seeing, and a way of dealing.

it is becoming one with an object— or in this case, a cathartic release.

cai churchville thoughtfully suggested julia cameron’s book to me— the artist’s way.

this piece is my artist’s page, my personal stream of consciousness, created when I was heavily weighed and cerebrally inflamed.

i intuitively merged all my thoughts, feelings, and reasons with the flow of creation— etched in words and covered with figures.

perhaps this piece speaks to my shadow side, where my emotions lie repressed, wreaking havoc as they decay.

perhaps this piece marks the beginning of my shadow work, in all its raw vulnerability and daring greatitily.

an uncovering of sorts— of perspective and truth.

an unexpected confrontation with the throat chakra, left unattuned by the speaker themselves.

and what have I learned, you ask?

i love poetry.

i think this might be poetry.
